In the history of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), its representation at the ICC Board Members’ meeting will be done by a sports minister. “Najmuddin Khan, the sports minister has expressed his desire to represent the PCB at next month’s ICC meeting,” revealed PCB CEO Shafqat Naghmi from Lahore.

Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq’s assertion that International Cricket Council’s inaction has allowed Australia to pick and choose tours of its choice, does make a lot of sense. The sport’s governing body always seems helpless and acts as mere spectator whenever Pakistan needs its support on a particular case.

Upset over Australia’s “double standards”, Pakistan Cricket Board is considering legal action against Cricket Australia if it goes ahead with the India tour in spite of a series of bomb blasts in Delhi last week, though it pulled out of a tour to Pakistan earlier.
